How We Choose Our Partner Farms

Every great cup of coffee begins long before the first pour.

For us, it begins with the people who grow it.

We believe that exceptional coffee comes from exceptional relationships. That’s why choosing a partner farm isn’t simply about finding beautiful beans. It’s about getting to know the people behind them, understanding how they work, and building relationships that can grow over time.

Beyond the Bean

When we visit or work with a farm, we look beyond the coffee itself.

We want to understand the landscape, the growing conditions, the farming practices, and the care that goes into every harvest. Altitude, soil, climate, variety, and processing all play their part — but so does the experience of the farmer.

Years of knowledge can be felt in the final cup.

Relationships Matter

We choose partners who share our belief that quality is worth taking the time to get right.

That means working closely with producers, communicating openly, and creating relationships built on trust rather than transactions. We want our partnerships to be meaningful and lasting, supporting the people who make exceptional coffee possible.

From Farm to Cup

Once the beans arrive with us, our job is to preserve what the farm has created.

We roast with care, paying attention to the character of each coffee rather than trying to make every bean taste the same. The goal is simple: to let the origin, variety, and work behind every harvest shine through.

Because when you know where your coffee comes from, every cup means a little more.
